Cover Girl

I have started an on-line course (for fun), in photography and social media. The first project is to take a selfie.....

Well I am usually behind the camera not in front and I am not that keen on selfies. I seem to take a picture of myself and then spend the time being discussed by all the flows I can find.

So the big question:

To Selfie or Not to Selfie, That is the question.
The first thing I did as soon as I found out the first project was on Selfies was groan. ‘Oh No’. I like to be behind the camera not in front of it.
So as usual, if I want inspiration, I jumped onto Pinterest searching for the ‘selfie ideas’.
There were so many…. How do I choose? I started with an image that managed to hide my face.
I decided that I would take the picture on me phone and once I liked it I could set up my DSLR.

Draft #1: Cover Girl

I did not like this one as the image did not match the size of my face – needs a magazine that has a larger image or that were I am able to fit into the pose.

The quest continues to find a selfie!

Follow up: I have been gong swimming and doing a small amount of yoga. These things are more my style of exercise. No one is shouting at you to go harder and at the end of yoga you get a wee nap. Hot chocolates are still ongoing even though it is summer - I think I am justified as I am doing my wee bit of exercise.
