Waiting for delivery guys.

Today was a day at home waiting on the delivery guy turning up. So I did a few things that I normal do not do.

They were on my list of things to get done this week and since the week is nearly over I thought I should try and get them done.

Make a mini pompom garland 

Try and make the perfect French hot chocolate

Iron some of Kevin's shirts

So I tried to make the make the mini pompom garland - this is for Kevin's 40th birthday party - once again pinterest, my addiction, has let me down.

Look how pretty they are suppose to be - ok so the website was in a different language but look at my result :(

 They are not the same! Were did I go wrong? They are flat and not fluffy and round...

I gave up and decided to make the perfect French hot chocolate which was more successful - well any hot chocolate on a rainy day. 

Eventually the ironing - I have to admit this is not one thing of my favourite things. The last time my dad and step-mum  stayed, my step mum was horrified that I could not find my ironing board ( we have only been in our house 5 years, how was I suppose to remember were I put it), and when she found it she hated it.

After spending the rest of the afternoon, with no delivery guy in site, I have to agree with my step-mum time to get a new ironing board. 

Follow up: I think I might have to increase the exercises since I keep having lovely mugs of hot chocolate.
